About
Once, in a galaxy far, far away... Wait, that's not right. Space, the final frontier...
Oh dear. Now I'm just embarrassed. eightbehind is a blog about music, drinking, games and dvd's that's updated almost three times a week. A great deal of time is spent finding and posting about music that I love.
No one pays me to post, though I have associates accounts with Amazon.com and the .
The ratings
A useful method for rating my music in iTunes with stars has eluded me ever since the feature was introduced. Here's the method I'm using:
- » 5 stars = “I could listen to this song anytime, in any mood”
- » 4 stars = “I love it”
- » 3 stars = “I like it”
- » 2 stars = “It’s okay (but I have to be in the mood)”
- » 1 stars = “Not a fan, but I keep it around for some reason”
My goal is to rate every song in my library with this system. Unrated songs will be left unchecked, and won't play in shuffle mode or get transferred to my iPod.
